Which laser level to buy?

51lskdA2jbLOn my home improvement blog, I have been getting many questions from my readers on which laser level they should buy for their DIY projects. I own 2 different laser levels, which I use regularly. For the past week, I have been doing a lot of research on the best laser levels because I want to suggest the best ones to you. Now some of you might be asking yourself, why do I need a laser level? And some of you might be even be asking yourself, what exactly is a laser level? Laser levels are mostly used for construction jobs, laser levels are used to align or level an object.

There are many different laser levels out there from companies like Dewalt, PLS and Bosch. Most of these are very expensive, unless you will be using a laser level everyday, you do not need to buy the expensive ones, a simple laser level will most likely do the job for you.

Below I will share some of the top laser levels that are affordable and reliable, check out the chart below.

Dewalt DW089lg Bosch GLL3-80 PLS 180
Type 360 degree Multi line Cross line
Weight 9.6 lb 7.8 lb 2.5 lb
Visibility 100 ft 65 ft 100 ft
Accuracy +/- 5 degrees +/- 4 degrees +/- 6 degrees
Battery Life 30 hours 18 hours 30 hours
Warranty 3 years 1 year 3 years

We have chosen one laser level from each company (Dewalt, PLS and Bosch). Now it is up to you to decide which laser level suits your needs. If you are looking for a more expensive and highly accurate laser level, I recommend the DW089lg by Dewalt, this laser level works really well and it is very reliable but it is a bit pricey. If you want to go with a lighter option, the PLS 180 is perfect for that, it is only 2.5 lb and is very compact.

Since I am no expert on laser levels, I suggest you do your research on all three of these laser levels to find out which is the best option for you. When you are ready to buy one of these, I suggest checking out Amazon.com, you can get some really good deals on there.
